Name: Dr. Stacey Neisner
Employer: Neisner Chiropractic in Stafford
What is your employer's product or service? Providing health and wellness services
Current job title: Chiropractor
How did you get started in your career? I have always had a desire to work in the healthcare field. After my health and energy increased with Chiropractic, I decided that I wanted to help people the same way.
What is a typical day
like in your job?
I start the day getting my office prepared for my scheduled patients. I pull their files and study them before they come in. If needed, I gather information for their particular needs. Most of the day is spent looking at X-rays, adjusting, planning exercise/nutritional programs, and performing spinal examinations.

company’s culture.
Caring and comfortable atmosphere. Personalized attention is always a priority.

Name: Steven Smith
Employer: Intermatic, Inc.
What is your employer's product or service? Landscape lighting, timers and surge protectors
Current job title: Merchandising Representative
How did you get started with your company? I responded to an advertisement for a Sales / Merchandising Representative. I had the required qualifications and was ready for a change.
What is a typical day
like in your job?
I visit large home improvement stores and make sure my product line is merchandised for maximum sales. I hit 2 or 3 stores per day depending on how much work they need. When new stores are opening, I set up the Intermatic displays. My territory covers Fort Bend, Southwest Houston, East as far as Beaumont and South as far as Webster.
Describe your
company’s culture.
The corporate office is near Chicago and the field representatives are fairly autonomous. I drive a company truck and work out of my home. My bonuses are tied to how well the product line sells in my assigned stores. The corporate office and assembly plant have many employees with very long tenures (20 years or more), so it must be a good place to work.
What does your company look for in an employee? Merchandising Reps need retail merchandising experience, the ability to read planograms and build displays, good interpersonal skills and a good driving record. Also, the ability to independently manage time and territory.
