LEARN ABOUT CAREER AND RESUMÉ RESOURCES AT UNIVERSITY BRANCH LIBRARY
With the increasingly competitive job market, job seekers are looking for ways to gain an edge and improve their chances of landing the right job. Fort Bend County Libraries has a variety of free job-search resources and services that can help. Learn more about them when the University Branch Library presents “Career & Resumé Resources @ the Library” on Tuesday, June 26, beginning at 10:30 am, in the Computer Lab of the library, located at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, on the UH campus.
The Adult Services staff will show how to take advantage of library resources that can help improve a resumé, prepare job-hunters for the workforce, and find the right job.
The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website, click on “Calendar,” select “University Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-5100, or by visiting the library.
