Library to Host Webinar on Job-Search Tips For New College Grads

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library will present a webinar for recent college graduates and young professionals, “Mastering Job-Search Skills for Recent College Grads” on Monday, September 9, 2013, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8100 FM 359 South in Fulshear.

Career expert and hiring manager Heather R. Huhman will provide tips on breaking into the job market when one has little professional experience and is competing in a pool flooded with other, more experienced candidates. Learn strategies that will help a candidate stand out in the job market, such as creating stellar resumés with attention-grabbing keywords, networking with college contacts and resources, and much more.
