Library’s Online Practice Tests Provide Help With Classes and Jobs
Fort Bend County Libraries’ LearningExpress Library is an online resource that provides interactive practice exams for a variety of studies, from elementary grades to college, as well as tutorials that help adults improve computer skills, create job-search materials, or prepare for career exams.
Library staff at the Mamie George Branch Library, 320 Dulles Ave in Stafford, will provide a basic introduction to using the LearningExpress Library resource on Monday, April 28, beginning at 6:30 pm.
Those attending the class will learn how to access the various practice tests that are available in the LearningExpress Library resource. The online practice tests provide instant scoring and feedback, and they may be repeated as many times as needed. This resource will help test-takers overcome test anxiety, gain confidence, and improve scores, while working at their own pace.
The class is free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. Those attending the class are welcome to bring their own laptop computer if available. For more information, call the branch library at 281-238-2880, or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
