Internet Job Search Workshop June 14, 2017

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Missouri City Branch Library will present an “Internet Job-Search Workshop” on Wednesday, June 14, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, in the Conference Room of the library, located at 1530 Texas Parkway.

Monee Cheney, from Family Services of Greater Houston, will explain how to effectively complete an online application, how to submit a resumé and cover letter online, and how to search for jobs on the Internet.

A part of the United Way, Family Services of Greater Houston is one of the oldest non-profit social-service organizations in the area. The agency’s Employment Services program helps individuals develop career goals, create plans for achieving career goals, connect with employers, and advance in their careers.

The class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required.
