Career Counseling Workshop Feb. 17, 2020

CAREER-COUNSELING WORKSHOP AT MISSION BEND BRANCH LIBRARY

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Mission Bend Branch Library will have a 2-part “Career Counseling Workshop” on Monday and Tuesday, February 17 and 18, beginning at 6:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8421 Addicks Clodine Road in northeast Fort Bend County.

Part I of the workshop will focus on “How to Write a Resumé to Land a New Role.” Leadership coach Kalim Saiyed will provide tips on how to properly structure a resumé to maximize one’s chances of securing an interview with a prospective employer.

Part II of the workshop will focus on “Interview Techniques & Salary Negotiations.” Saiyed will share tips on how to prepare for a job interview. Gain a better understanding of interview strategies, including how to respond to behavioral questions and what questions to ask the interviewer. Saiyed will also provide helpful advice for negotiating one’s salary.

Saiyed is a leadership coach and career consultant with the Kalsai Group, LLC. He is a certified John Maxwell team coach and a CoachRICE graduate.
